Neuro-Vascular Hila of Limb Muscles

چکیده
While both these source books are more than adequate, Great Experiments in Biology is, by and large, the better of the two. Great Experiments contains 63 excerpts or complete papers and Classics of Biology, 75. Gabriel and Fogel have made the better selection and have organized their work better than Pi-Sufier, but the latter has written more adequate introductions to his various sections. Both books concentrate on nineteenth and twentieth century biology, having about 85 per cent of their items from this period. Galen, one of the greatest experimental biologists, is not represented in either and, more surprisingly perhaps, neither is Harvey. Several of the works excerpted in Pi-Sufier's books are certainly not "classics"-a criticism which cannot be leveled at Gabriel and Fogel. Any biologist who has more than a technician's interest in biology will find either book enjoyable and useful, but for students, Great Experimtents in Biology is undoubtedly superior. FREDERICK G. متن کاملChanges in postural and trunk muscles responses in patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain during sudden upper limb loading
Background: Alterations in the neuromuscular control of the spine were found in patients with chronic low back pain (CLBP). Sudden loading of the spine is assumed to be the cause of approximately 12% of lower back injuries. However, some aspects of this problem, such as alterations in the sensory–motor control of the spine, remain questionable. This study investigated postural and neuro–motor...
متن کاملManufacturing Evaluation of Fuzzy-Neuro Modifiers for Compensation of the Effects of Muscle Fatigue on EMG-Based Control to be Used in Upper-Limb Power-Assist Exoskeletons*
Assistive robotic technology can play a major role to improve the quality of life of the physically weak people such as aged, injured, disabled or handicapped. Many assistive devices have been developed according to the needs of such individuals. Especially, upper-limb power-assist exoskeletons have been able to draw attention, as the upper limb motions are very important for the daily activiti...
متن کاملFalse positive lower limb lymphoscintigraphy due to inadvertent intra-vascular injection of the tracer: Importance of tracer re-injection
We presented a 30 year-old woman presented with symmetrical swelling of the lower limbs since 5 years ago with sparing of the feet. She was highly suspicious of having lipoedema and was referred for lower limb lymphoscintigraphy to rule out possible lymphedema. Lymphoscintigraphy images showed asymmetrical injection sites and unusually high liver and spleen uptake. Inguinal nodes was not visual...
متن کاملThe effect of isometric contractions of upper and lower limb muscles on the ultrasonic thickness of the transversus abdominis muscle
Background: The transverse abdominis (TrA) muscle is one of the most important muscles that contribute to the stability of the lumbar spine. Strengthening of trunk muscles that have a significant role in trunk stability is very important in the field of professional sport, sport medicine and rehabilitation of patient with low back pain (LBP). Identifying the exercises that can improve the stren...
